7. Apply & Live it!

In Chapter #6, we explored many aspects that influence your energy, including light, sound, sleep, movement and play, gut health, practicing gratitude, and more.

You Can Choose. Always!

Being aware of these aspects allows you to consciously choose what aligns with the life you want to live and follow your heart. You can identify what no longer serves you and decide what to let go and what to nurture.

Shortcut?

There isn’t just one shortcut. Put all your unique pieces of the puzzle together to make a whole. Take step-by-step action. Even a 1% improvement every day will lead to the life you desire. Remember, even a 1,000-mile journey starts with a single step (Lao Tzu).

Finding Your Balance.

Finding your balance—the yin and yang—is both complex and simple. Maintain balance in everything, like the people in the blue zones do. Keep in mind that addiction is a dopamine rush and represents an imbalance. Be aware of the line between addiction and passion.

Apply your new story. How?

When you let go of your old story and choose your new story, you can start living it. You can apply it to your life and tune into your new timeline, your unique story. How?

The simple answer: Just do it! It can be tough and challenging, but taking action is crucial to moving forward. Here is a valuable way to do it:

  1. Take a few deep breaths with a longer exhale. Place one or both hands on your heart. The more you are in the present moment, the more your brain and heart are in coherence (see also the chapters about meditation and breathwork).
  2. Visualize your new story at least once a day. The more often you can visualize it or parts of it during the day, the stronger it becomes.
  3. Tune into the energy with your heart and brain, and feel as if it is already happening. Let thought and feeling become one. Mind and heart are one. Become it. Move from belief to trust! Feel it and get excited about it.

Cultivating your mindset and heartset is essential! Like training a muscle, many small steps become a big step. Dare to step out of your comfort zone! Remember, “Where focus goes, energy flows.” The more you are in the present moment, the more you will live with an open focus. You won’t spend energy on things that don’t serve your well-being. You will gain so much energy and experience more flow states. A positive flywheel starts.

That is the way to manifest your authentic true self—in happiness, abundance, and freedom!
